Neangar Park Golf Club

Locally regarded as Central Victoria’s best course, this 18 Hole layout hosts a PGA Pro AM each January and has had it’s fair share of PGA Professionals involved in the club. The course is consistently presented in excellent condition all year round with recent course improvements undertaken by renowned golf course architects, Cashmore design.

Bendigo Art Gallery

One of the oldest and largest regional galleries in Australia, established in 1887,  the gallery’s collection is extensive, with an emphasis on 19th century European art and Australian art from the 1800’s, alongside a strong collection of contemporary Australian art. Over the last decade it has cemented its reputation for presenting innovative international exhibitions alongside a dynamic and varied suite of public programs and events.

Golden Dragon Museum

Opened in 1991, this Chinese Museum is to document, interpret and preserve the Chinese heritage in Bendigo. The Chinese heritage is an integral part of Bendigo, and this fascinating museum allows visitors to experience Chinese culture firsthand.

Lake Weeroona

Lake Weeroona is the jewel in Bendigo’s crown. This beautiful ornamental lake and reserve, set on 18 hectares, was transformed from a dusty mining area in the 1870s. Take a walk around the picturesque lake, enjoy a coffee, a heart warming meal or a delicious homemade gelato. The kids will love the amazing playground and the wide open space to burn off some energy. To make the visit even more exciting, catch a vintage tram from the city centre to the lake.

Bendigo Pottery

For over 150 years Bendigo Pottery has been famous for creating high quality ceramics. A major tourist attraction, the pottery offers visitors a unique combination of great shopping, hands on clay experiences and the opportunity to step back in time.
